St Michaels Catholic College is an existing college in Bermondsey, London. The project comprised of a new build four storey 6th form block with central atrium space. BCE were appointed to complete the design on behalf of the Main Contractor. Ventilation was provided via natural ventilation units in each classroom connecting to the central atrium that was then discharged via roof terminals. Extensive modelling was completed to ensure that the natural ventilation system avoided the need for mechanical cooling.
