About Us
As the founding Director of BCE Stan is a Chartered Engineer with over 34 years' experience in the building services industry. Stan's experience includes all sectors including hospitals, schools, student accommodation, residential, leisure facilities, Rail and MOD.
Having graduated in 1985 at Liverpool University Stan worked for a couple of M&E consultants in Cambridge including secondments abroad in Australia and Indonesia before forming BCE in 2002.
Having been based in Cambridge since 1985 Stan has established an excellent reputation for delivering competent designs to suit the Client's needs. A non-contractual flexible approach has ensured continued and repeat business since 2002 which has provided BCE with an excellent reputation for collaborative working.
Darren has a broad and detailed knowledge of building services having worked in various parts of the industry. He has over 30 years of experience gained working for Main Contractors, M&E Contractors and a large M&E Consultancy giving him the necessary knowledge base to lead the M&E design delivery on behalf of BCE.
Darren has worked in all major sectors including education, residential, healthcare, MOD, rail and commercial. His experience allows him to influence designs to ensure they are practical to build along with an understanding of the potential costs. Delivering the right solution to match the Clients budget is a key strength.
