A new build two storey 600m2 extension and internal refurbishment works at an existing primary school in Newham, east London. The new extension, designed by Rivington Street Studio Architects, provided much needed additional space for a nursery and staff resource areas plus new studio area at 1st floor level. Extensive surveys were required of the existing services within the existing Victorian school building to ascertain practicalities of extending the existing systems. Project due for handover in May 2020.
