Our project comprised of a new Integrated Training Centre (5700m2), Maintenance & Finishing Facility (12,380m2) and a Logistics and Operations Centre (2,246m2). The new buildings were mainly provided to create additional capacity for the Lightning II project (new F35 Fighter Jets). The M&E design was completed to stage 4 by others. BCE were appointed to complete the design to construction stage and to ensure that the design met the Client’s (BAE) original exhaustive requirements. We worked closely with Integral UK Ltd and specialist designer’s to ensure the design was completed to the required timescales.
