A new build 1,500m2 8 Classroom teaching block, Reception and Assembly Hall provide a substantial extension at the existing school virtually doubling its existing capacity. The scheme also includes internal refurbishment works to provide new kitchen facilities and upgrading existing toilets. Due to the increase size a new electrical substation, gas supply and water supplies were required to provide the additional capacity. The building was ‘modelled’ to confirm ventilation requirements as the school fronts a road. Project due for handover in March 2020.
